Project Description

Danny Satterfield Drywall Corporation completed the interior and exterior framing and drywall package for The Refinery at Sports of the World in Garden City, Kansas—our largest project completed to date. This state-of-the-art sports and recreation facility was designed to serve as a regional destination for athletics, community events, and family entertainment.

Our team installed structural and interior metal stud framing throughout the facility along with exterior sheathing systems, insulation, drywall hanging and finishing, and extensive acoustical ceiling installations. The project also included acoustical clouds and wall panels to improve sound control in large activity spaces, as well as plywood and FRP wall panels in high-use and service areas.

The scale and complexity of The Refinery required careful coordination and craftsmanship from our field crews and project management team. Today, the facility stands as a centerpiece for sports, recreation, and community gatherings in southwest Kansas, and it represents a milestone project in the continued growth of our company.
